A curl therapy session isn't just a cut. It's opening your eyes to a simple way to take care of your natural hair. In other words, the opposite of what the internet says.

The internet has us believing that natural hair care is a part time job. Who has time??

This session is all about giving you the keys to be comfortable with styling your hair so that your wash n go lasts 4-7 days. No refreshing. No wetting those frizzy strands to get them to lay flat. Just wake up for 4-7 days straight, fluff your hair, and walk out the door.

All you need is the following

A head of hair

An open mind

1-2 hours per week to wash and style your hair at home

Trims every 12 - 16 weeks

How to Prep for your 1st Appointment

Before your appointment, we'll have a virtual consultation where I can actually see your hair and you can tell me your goals. This consultation is required for all 1st time curly clients.

Next you will be directed to complete a 30 day hair detox. Why you may ask, because this prepares your hair for your new hair journey by starting you on the right path of hydrating your hair. This also cuts your appointment time and cost drastically, so it is a win, win for both of us.

Please come in with clean, 100% dry, detangled, oil free hair. Please make sure your visit is within one day of you washing your hair.

Hair that is not clean or detangled will incur an extra detangling charge of $60/hr

Wear your hair in its natural state, with no twist outs, braid outs etc. I want to be able to see your natural curl pattern.

Hair should be free of oils and heavy silicone products

Please don't wear any ponytails, bobby pins, headbands, hats or anything that may put a dent in your natural curl pattern.

Do you work with 4a/b/c hair?

Here's a fun fact for you. There's no such thing as Type 4 hair. in fact, that whole typing system? It's not something that's taught at cosmetology school at all.
We use a different system. I identify the essential elements of your hair and cater my service based on that. The elements are:
density, porosity, elasticity, diameter, and surface texture
Long story short, I work with all hair.

Do I have to do the package plan?

No. However, after your consultation, you'll receive your plan recommendations. The most common is the 3 treatment package. Remember, the goal is to get you to do your own wash n gos at home and only come to the salon end clean up & shaping.

Do you do twistouts, updos, twists or cornrows?

No. I only do wash n gos
